Founded in 1972, FIAL excels in the field of awnings where the combination of know-how, innovation and passion for aluminium come together to offer customers quality sun protection solutions.
Who is Kristina?
Kristina, our intern product manager for FIAL , Charles Lauzier’s blind brand
His daily life?
His daily role is to work on the development and growth of FIAL in order to boost its activity and thus actively contribute to the growth of the company. His job involves marketing strategy aspects to optimize the marketing of the right products to the right consumers.
The product manager’s missions?
Study of the positioning of our product range on the market
Analyze the offer of market players and consumer expectations
Propose an evolution of the current offer

EROL, our FOUNDRY manager
Each member of our team plays a crucial role in our success.
Today we are proud to introduce you to Erol, who has worked his way up from beginner foundry worker to foundry manager since joining in 1989.
Who is EROL?
Erol began his career at the age of 18, captivated by the transformation of aluminum from liquid to solid.
This process impressed him so much that he never left this field.
“I love looking at how we can improve our processes to produce quality parts,” he shares.
Passion and expertise
Although his current responsibilities prevent him from manufacturing parts on a daily basis, Erol remains passionate about foundry work and gets involved whenever he gets the chance.
“I miss casting, and I enjoy solving problems with the most complicated molds.”
KEY SKILLS AND CHALLENGES
To succeed in this profession, you have to be manual and not fear the heat. Erol emphasizes that foundry is an artisanal and increasingly rare profession, which requires skill and precision. There is no shortage of challenges, especially with the need to produce high-quality parts to meet the growing demands of the market.

Thierry, our Grinding Pilot!
We are delighted to introduce Thierry, a pillar of our team for seven years.
Who is Thierry?
A former locksmith, Thierry embraced a career change that brought him to us as a Grinding Pilot . This role immediately appealed to him because of its link with his former profession, combining technique and manual precision.
His daily life?
Thierry takes on the challenge of grinding various parts , each with its own specific requirements to perfectly meet our customers' expectations. Each day brings its share of different parts, keeping the work dynamic and engaging. "It's the constant change that makes this job so enjoyable."
The key skills of the Grinding Pilot?
To be a Grinding Pilot , no specific diploma is required, but you must be manual, willing and recognized by your peers.
Teamwork
What excites Thierry about Charles Lauzier? "The variety of pieces to work on and the team spirit," he says. Despite the individual nature of the tasks, the spirit of collaboration prevails: the six members of the team support each other, which creates a warm and productive working atmosphere.

Dovan, our technical manager
At Charles Lauzier , each member of our team plays a key role in the success of our operations. Meet Dovan, who joined our team in 2023 and holds the crucial position of Technical Manager.
Who is Dovan?
At 32, Dovan holds the vital position of Technical Manager.
His daily life?
Supervise the development of new parts from receipt of the order to their final production. But that's not all! It is also at the heart of the optimization of our production means and the industrialization of our processes , bringing essential technical expertise to our operation.
Why did he choose this position?
For Dovan, no two days are the same. What attracts him most to his job is the diversity of challenges. Each day brings its share of problems to solve, constantly stimulating his creative and analytical mind. It is this constant quest for solutions and this permanent innovation that pushed him to join our team.
The key skills of the technical manager?
Mastery of technical drawing for the precise design of parts.
In-depth knowledge of mechanics to understand and improve production processes.
